Field Trip anyone?!

The Guthrie Theatre has a Playwrights' Center Reading of "The Book Club Play" on November 3rd. It's free and, hey, it's totally unfair that adults don't get to go on field trips! (However, it doesn't give a time...could be during work hours.) Just thought I would mention it!

The Book Club Play
By Karen Zacarías:

A comedy that looks at the impact of books on our lives and friendships, as we watch a tight knit book club dissolve when Alex, so smart, so funny, and so annoying, joins the group.

Looking ahead to December...

We talked about reading "Holidays on Ice" by David Sedaris for the December meeting... Gotta love a little humor in the holiday spirit. Check it out from your library now to beat the holiday rush!

Judy Blume Fever!

The Nov. 13 meeting will be hosted by Kelly and Clare, and there is an assignment. Everyone must bring a picture of themselves in Middle School/Junior High. This will help us to get in touch with our inner adolescents for our discussion of "Are you there God? It's me Margaret."
See you November 13!
